A bluesy, late ‘60’s styled song with the smooth, rich delivery that emulates Bonnie Raitt or Rita Coolidge. The fluid, medium beat, and the horns interspersed with harmonica along with the J.J. Cale-like guitar, add to the story of a broken town and a broken girl. The lyrics address hidden racism buried deep in American culture.
